Traversing above the cliffs of Benwee –
Laura and I alone in vastness
Immense awareness of distances, proximities
Constantly shifting atmosphere, turning, sliding
Spatial signals and directional orientations.
Vague trail markers as touchstones, punctuations,
Moving outward but within
A spiral reality, no beginning or destination,
Only a constantly re-configured present –
At once grounded and weightless
Locating, reflecting in space, through time.
The ancient diagonals intersect,
Boundaries of land, air and sea dissolve
Like the distance from now to then.
