On Tuesday, October 5, Suzan Frecon will be speaking at the New York Studio School in conjunction with her tour de force show at David Zwirner (through October 30). Maybe she will talk about how she gets those sumptuous surfaces. More likely, she'll talk about painting's continuing connection to the most primal human impulses.
