I finally got a few decent photographs of the installation of my new commissioned painting for the lobby of the Hines Building, 600 Lexington Avenue at 52nd Street (NW corner), NYC.
One of the real challenges of this project was to create a dynamic color situation that would not only evoke a light-saturated, atmospheric openness, but would also form a distinct contrast with the dark mahogany wall on which the painting was to be hung.
The lobby is illuminated and accessible 24/7, so I hope the next time you're in Midtown, you'll stop by to see Meteor Beach up close.
